Small, 10 cm high terrestrial. Tuber 0.7 cm long. Stem 6 cm long, glabrous. Cataphyll obovoid-cylindrical, 0.6 cm long, abruptly acuminate. Leaves broadly ovate-caudate, 2.2 by 1.5 cm, acuminate, at the base cordate, mid-rib distinct but hardly prominent on either side, basal nerves 3 on either side of mid-rib, only the inner one reaching apical part of the leaf-blade, outermost very short, cross-veins 4 or 5, branched or unbranched, connate to inner basal nerve, margin crinkly, irregularly crenulate. Floral bract ovate, 1.1 by 0.2 cm, caudate-subulate, glabrous. Median sepal boat-shaped, curved, strongly laterally compressed, 2.3 by 1.6 cm, 9-nerved, glabrous. Lateral sepals linear, 0.8 by 0.05 cm, glabrous. Petals similar, 2.8 by 0.08 cm. Lip from a 0.3-0.4 cm long, widely funnel-shaped basal part spreading out into a narrowly obovate, 1.4 by 0.8 cm large blade, the lateral sides separated by a deep groove, at the apex with a short ovate-ligulate lobe, finely papillate on inside in apical part only, mid-rib grooved above, crested on outside, one of the lateral nerves on either side thickened on inside and forming the margins of the groove, margin denticulate; spurs minute, conoid.
