Differs from the typical variety by the longer sepals and petals, which are more than twice as long as the spurs. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914, as Corysanthes calophylla Schltr. var. sepalina Schltr.).
Same as the typical variety.
Terrestrial in humus under shrubs on mountain ridges. Altitude 1300 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
