Epiphyte, c. 24 cm high. Rhizome short. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs very narrowly cylindrical, at the base thicker but hardly thicker than the petiole, 2-3 cm high; 1-leaved. Leaf erect, falcate, acute, glabrous, 16-21 by 0.8-1 cm; base narrowed into a petiole. Inflorescence short, with few small scales, c. 1 cm long. Floral bracts very small, many times shorter than the very long pedicel. Flower erect. Sepals oblong, glabrous. Median sepal acute, 0.9 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, subobtuse, 1.1 cm long. Petals obliquely oblong, subobtuse, 0.25 cm long; above the base along the front with obtusely angled margin; to the apex with irregular margins. Lip curved, fleshy, indistinctly lobed, in outline ovate, obtuse, 0.3 cm long; apical half narrowed. Column medium-sized; stelidia obtuse; column-foot incurved. Anther ovate-cucullate, glabrous, obtuse. Pedicel and ovary glabrous, c. 4 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)


Flowers yellowish. Sepals with fine red nerves. Lip and column green.

Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1000 m.
