Epiphytic, stout, erect. Roots flexuose, glabrous. Stem thick, densely leafy, up to 30 cm high, 1.5 cm diam., covered with shiny leaf-sheaths. Leaves erect-patent or subpatent, broadly ligulate, unequally and obtusely bilobulate, shiny, up to 17 cm long, near the middle 3.5-4 cm wide, thickly coriaceous. Inflorescences very long pedunculate, with several branches or paniculate, 50 cm long; peduncle with a few small scales. Floral bracts minute, deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Flowers very small, glabrous. Sepals broadly oblong, obtuse, 0.4 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong-ligulate, subacute, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip as long as the sepals, 5-lobed, the basal-most lateral lobes tooth-like, acute, very small, the others more then twice as large, divergent, subfalcate-lanceolate, rather obtuse, mid-lobe elliptic, apex shallowly notched, larger, porrect; spur broadly conical, obtuse, 0.25 cm long, inside at the back with a small lamella that is crescent-shaped at the apex, inside in front with a fairly high, in the middle callus-like thickened lamella. Column short, thick; anther reniform-cucullate, subrostrate; pollinia obovoid; stipe narrowly linear, a little longer; viscidium suborbicular, minute.
