Type: Bogor cult. (Djibdja) s.n. (Irian Jaya, North coast) (holo BO [probably, s.n. (1906), no coll.])

Leaves 14-24 by 4.5-6.2 cm. Lip spur strongly inflated-clavate, depressed, 1.6 cm long, 0.58 cm wide, obtuse, slightly retuse. Column at the apex broader than in the typical variety. (After Smith, 1907).


As for the typical variety.

Not known, probably terrestrial in lowland forest.

Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).

Papua (Indonesia).

Warm growing terrestrial, keep in shade.
