Epiphytic, slender, 20 cm high. Rhizome very short. Roots filiform, flexuose, densely pilose. Stems straight or ascending, unbranched, many-leaved, entirely covered with the leaf-sheaths, 0.15 cm diam. Leaves erect-patent, ligulate, rather obtuse, apiculate, 1.5-1.7 cm long, near the middle 0.25-0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence terminal, rather laxly 10-12-flowerd, including the short peduncle scarcely 3 cm long, suberect. Floral bracts erect-patent, later becoming deflexed, oblong, acute, about as long as or slightly longer than the ovary. Flowers almost patent, glabrous. Sepals ovate, rather obtuse, 0.35 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, keeled outside along the mid-vein, at the base along the front margins strongly dilated; mentum obliquely semioblong, broadly obtuse, 0.25 cm long. Petals falcate-ligulate, acute, sublinear, a little shorter than the median sepal. Lip at the base oblong, strongly dilated in the apical half, broadly ovate, apiculate, above the base with a transverse, horseshoe-shaped, at the apex minutely notched, slightly incurved callus, lip in total about 0.4 cm long, in the basal half 0.18 cm wide, above the middle 0.23 cm wide. Column rather thick, short. Column-foot strongly concave, ligulate, 0.25 cm long, slightly incurved at the apex; rostellum short, erect, triangular, notched. Ovary pedicellate, clavate, glabrous, 0.5 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1921).
