Synonyms:

Epiphyte, slender, erect or patent, 15-25 cm high; rhizome very short, roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, puberulous; stems unbranched, straight or almost straight, thinly terete, densely leafy, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths, 0.2 cm diameter; leaves erect-patent, lanceolate or elliptic-lanceolate, pointed, apex minutely notched with a setiform apiculum, 1.5-2 cm long, in the middle or below the middle 0.25-0.4 cm wide; Inflorescence terminal, rather laxly many-flowered, elongated, up to 8 cm long; bracts reflexed, lanceolate, acute, glabrous, slightly more than half as long as the ovary. Flowers patent, glabrous. Sepals ovate, narrowly obtuse, 0.2 cm long. Lateral sepals strongly oblique, at the base lobed-dilated along the front margins, mentum conical, obtuse, straight, 0.25 cm long. Petals obliquely oblong-ligulate, obtuse, towards the base somewhat dilated along the front margin, somewhat shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base narrow, broadly cuneate, in total 0.3 cm long, above the middle 0.28 cm wide, in front abruptly rounded, at the apex terminating in a short, obtuse lobule, with a basal horseshoe-shaped appendage which entirely conceals the base of the lip. Column short, column-foot slender, very long, rostellum long, erect, ligulate-triangular. Ovary with a slender pedicel, glabrous, 0.4 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
