Type: Schlechter 18840 (holo B, lost)

Epiphytic, erect, several-stemmed, up to 9 cm high. Rhizome elongated, slender, flexuose; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stems 0.5-1.5 cm apart, densely leafy, entirely hidden by the leaf-bases, up to 5 cm long, 8-10-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, obliquely lanceolate, acute or subacute, glabrous, free part 1-1.5 cm long, at the base 0.35-0.45 cm wide. Inflorescence usually curved, carrying flowers up to the base, rather densely many-flowered, up to 2.5 cm long. Floral bracts lanceolate, acute, margins subdentate, dorsally keeled, glabrous, as long as the flowers. Flowers erect-patent, minute, glabrous. Sepals oblong or ovate-oblong, obtuse, hardly more than 0.05 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals ovate-lanceolate, acute, margins subdentate-irregular, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip at the base subtruncate-cordate, ovate-triangular, apiculate, a little longer than the sepals, at the base 0.05 cm wide. Column relatively slender, rather thick towards the apex, glabrous. Anther subreniform, obtuse. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, including the pedicel 0.1 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
