Epiphytic, small, tufted, 4-5 cm high. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stem short, densely 3-4-leaved, entirely hidden by the leaf-bases, 1-1.2 cm long. Leaves lanceolate-ligulate, acute or apiculate, subfalcate, free part 0.8-1.2 cm long, at the base 0.25-0.35 cm wide. Inflorescence pedunculate, rather densely many-flowered, 2-2.5 cm long, almost 0.3 cm diam. across the flowers; peduncle 1-1.3 cm long, slender. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, with irregular margins, as long as the ovary or a little longer. Flowers patent, minute, glabrous. Sepals ovate, subobtuse, 0.05 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, wider than the median sepal. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, subobtuse, with irregular margins, a little smaller than the sepals. Lip oblong-ligulate, 0.08 cm long, with irregular margins, without basal auricles, at the apex shortly bilobulate with divergent, triangular, subacute lobules. Column very short, rather thick, glabrous. Anther suborbicular-reniform, obtuse. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, including the pedicel almost 0.08 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Epiphyte in lowland forest; 100 to 800 m.
