Type: Schlechter 13933 (holo B, lost)

Epiphytic, caespitose, low, c. 7 cm high. Roots filiform, flexuose smooth. Stem almost lacking. Leaves distichous, 3-4, linear-lanceolate, acuminate, subfalcate, sheathing at the base, 2.5-6 cm long, 0.4-0.8 cm wide. Inflorescence shortly pedunculate, 2.5-4 cm long, 0.4 cm diam. across the flowers. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, only slightly longer than the ovary. Flowers patent, 0.2 cm diam. Sepals ovate, subobtuse, outside sparsely papillose, otherwise glabrous, 0.1 cm long. Petals linear, obtuse, a little shorter than the sepals, apical margin erose, almost denticulate. Lip at the base somewhat concave, subcordate-auriculate, broadly subquadrate-cuneate, a little more than 0.1 cm long and about as wide near the apex, glabrous, apex retuse, almost bilobulate, corners broadly obtuse. Column rather thick. Anther broadly cordate, in front subacute. Ovary cylindrical, 0.1 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1905 and Schlechter, 1911-1914)

Epiphyte in hill and lower montane forest; 350 to 800 m.
