Type: Schlechter 20292 (holo B, lost)

Epiphytic, erect, short-stemmed, c. 7 cm high. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stem short, densely 4-6-leaved, entirely hidden by the leaf-bases, up to 2.5 cm long. Leaves erect-patent or suberect, lanceolate-ligulate, acute, usually falcate-oblique, free part 3-5.5 cm long, at the base 0.6-1 cm wide. Inflorescence carrying flowers up to the base, densely many-flowered, c. 4 cm long, 0.45 cm diam. across the flowers. Floral bracts ovate, apiculate, with pectinate-dentate margins, outside muriculate, almost as long as the ovary. Flowers patent, very small. Sepals broadly ovate, obtuse, outside sparsely muriculate, 0.1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals oblong, subacute, with subdenticulate margins, glabrous, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip 0.12 cm long, above the middle 0.15 cm wide, at the base auriculate and quadrangular, blade flabellate-subreniform, glabrous, bilobed at the apex, lobes semiorbicular, with subcrenulate-irregular margins, between the lobes with a deep sinus and an obtuse apiculum. Column very short, rather thick. Anther reniform, obtuse. Ovary cylindrical, densely muriculate-papillose, c. 0.1 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
