Synonyms:
Epiphytic, pendent, 25-30 cm long, several-stemmed. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stem almost straight, entirely hidden by the leaf-sheaths, many-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, free part obliquely lanceolate, acute, 1.5-2.5 cm long, at the base 0.5-0.6 cm wide. Inflorescence carrying flowers almost up to the base, elongated, cylindrical, c. 6 cm long, 0.4 cm diam. across the flowers. Floral bracts patent, ovate-lanceolate, acute, glabrous, usually shorter than the ovary. Flowers minute, patent, not resupinated, glabrous. Sepals broadly elliptic-oblong, obtuse, almost 0.1 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely linear-ligulate, obtuse, as long as the sepals. Lip at the base long-auriculate; blade in outline oblong, c. 0.15 cm long, near the middle 0.075 cm wide, bifid in apical third, margins in apical half serrate-denticulate; auricles falcate-oblong, obtuse, clasping the column, with a distinct median keel running from base to apex, hardly more than 0.05 cm long. Flower greenish brown.
Epiphyte in lowland forest, also in abandoned rubber plantations; 85 to 450 m.
Malesia (Moluccas, New Guinea).
