Type: Kaernbach 73 (holo B, lost)
Synonyms:
Stem (excluding the inflorescence) 10 cm long, with 8-10 leaves. Leaves equitant, linear-lanceolate, subfalcate, acuminate, the basal ones 5-6 by 0.5-0.8 cm, the upper ones much smaller. Inflorescence many-flowered. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, entire; rachis and ovary scabrous but neither glandulose nor hairy. Flowers very small, c. 0.08 cm across, whorled. Sepals broadly oblong, almost orbicular, obtuse. Petals ligulate, obtuse. Lip at the base cuneate, dilated, margins irregularly denticulate, sometimes almost bilobed or even 4-lobed. Column with two arms as long as the column itself [Kraenzlin here probably wrongly describes the basal auricles of the lip as column-arms! A.S.]. (After Kraenzlin, 1901)

Epiphyte in hill forest, sometimes on bamboo stems; 600 m.
Malesia (New Guinea, endemic).
Warm to intermediate growing epiphyte.
