Synonyms:

Epiphytic, erect or spreading, several-stemmed, up to 2O cm high. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose. glabrous. Stems indistinctly flexuose, laxly 5-7-leaved, entirely hidden by the leaf-bases, up to 13 cm long. Leaves erect or suberect, linear-lanceolate, acute, usually subfalcate, glabrous, free part 5-10 cm long, at the base 0.6-0.8 cm wide. Inflorescence erect, laxly many-flowered, up to 7 cm long, carrying flowers up to above the base. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, with subdentate margins, about as long as the ovary. Flowers whorled, patent, glabrous, the whorls c. 0.5-0.7 cm apart, several-flowered. Sepals elliptic, subobtuse, 0.2 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, subacute, somewhat smaller than the sepals. Lip 0.3 cm long, below the apex 0.32 cm wide, at the base shortly auriculate, broadly cuneate-obcordate, bilobed in apical third, the lobes semiorbicular-subquadrate, broadly obtuse, sinus obtuse. Column very short, rather thick, glabrous. Anther reniform, obtuse. Ovary cylindrical, glabrous, including the pedicel 0.25 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1911-1914)
