Epiphyte, creeping, very small, to 20 cm long. Rhizome elongated. Roots filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs minute, very close together, tightly adnate to the rhizome, hardly 0.2 cm long; 1-leaved. Leaves erect-patent, elliptic, obtuse, or minutely apiculate, carnose, 0.8-1 by 0.5-0.6 cm near the middle. Inflorescence 1-flowered, to 1.5 cm long, very thin, with a few small peduncle-scales. Floral bracts cucullate, shorter than the ovary. Flower not resupinated, small for the section. Sepals oblong, subacute, glabrous, 0.6 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, to below the apex tightly connate. Petals obliquely ovate, shortly aristate-acuminate, 0.4 cm long; margins sparsely denticulate. Lip narrowly oblong, in total 0.5 cm long; base minutely auriculate; above the base weakly lobulate-dilated; margins with dense, very short, capitate hairs; midrib keeled, at the base with a very small callus. Column very short; stelidia obliquely apiculate; column-foot somewhat incurved. Anther cucullate, glabrous. Ovary sessile, glabrous, 0.3 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1913)
