Synonyms:
Epiphytic, pendent, 30-50 cm long, several-stemmed; roots filiform, elongated, smooth. Stems flexuose, at the very base with a few cataphylls, laxly 6-9-leaved, entirely covered with the ancipitous leaf-sheaths. Leaves erect-patent, equitant, narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, subfalcate, sheathing at the base, including the sheaths 6-13 cm long, near the middle 1-1.5 cm wide; sheaths along their front margins long connate. Inflorescence cylindrical, densely many-flowered, 8-12 cm long, 0.7 cm diam. Floral bracts lanceolate, acuminate, about as long as the ovary. Flowers patent, 0.4 cm diam. Median sepal oblong, obtuse, 0.2 cm long. Lateral sepals oblong, obtuse, somewhat oblique, as long as the median sepal but a little broader. Petals oblong-ligulate, obtuse, as long as the median sepal. Lip erect, 0.3 cm long, at the base ovate-cordate, concave, somewhat narrowed in the middle, at the apex bilobed, the lobes divergent, subquadrate, truncate-obtuse. Column rather thick, very short; stigma large. Anther rounded, in front subacute. Ovary shortly pedicellate, , glabrous, subcylindrical, almost 0.3 cm long. (After Schlechter, 1905)
