Plant 10—16 cm tall, erect, usually clustered. Rhizome very short. Leafy stem 0.3—0.5 by 0.2—0.3 cm diam., very short, oblong to ovate, completely covered by leaf petioles and sheaths. Leaves c. 6; petiole erect, 0.2—0.5 by 0.1—0.3 cm when spread; leaf sheath slightly inflated, 0.2—0.5 by 0.2—0.4(0.5) cm; leaf blade lanceolate to oblanceolate, attenuate, 4—8 by 0.7—1,5 cm, basally narrow—nearly cuneate, with acuminate apex, 1—3-nerved, the median nerve thicker and more distinct. Inflorescence 10—15 cm long; peduncle 3.5—6.4 cm long; raceme 20—30(40)-flowered, falcate, dense, 6.5—8.7 cm long. Sterile bract usually one,, erect, lanceolate, attenuate, 0.7—1.1 by 0.2—0.27 cm when spread; apex acuminate; 1-nerved. Floral bracts, erect, lanceolate, attenuate, 0.03—0.06 by 0.14—0.24 cm; apex acuminate; 1-nerved. Ovary and pedicel 0.6—1.2 cm long. Flowers 0.7—0.85 cm. Median sepal ovate 0.38—0.42 by 0.29—0.32 cm; apex obtuse; main nerve more distinct. Lateral sepals oblique,, ovate to oblong-ovate, 0.37—0.41 mm long, 0.27—0.3 cm; apex obtuse to subapiculate; main nerve more distinct. Petals usually bent backwards, linear, 0.4—0.45 by 0.05—0.07 cm; apex obtuse. Lip sagittate, widest slightly slightly above its base, 0.41—0.47 by 0.25—0.3 cm; lamina 0.25—0.28 cm long; mid-lobe oblong, apiculate at distal tip, not separated from lateral lobes, with 2 parallel, erect lamellae along the main nerves which are broadly triangular in the middle, 0.17—0.22 by 0.01—0.02 cm, 0.01—0.04 cm high; lateral lobes c. parallel, oblong, 0.14—0.18 by 0.11—0.14 cm base, with rounded at distal tip. Gynostemium massive, erect, 0.13—0.15 by about halfway with a large, elongate appendage on the dorsal surface, appendage 0.06—0.08 cm high, with obtuse top; staminodes strongly folded back from the anther, nearly rectangular, 0.08—0.11 by 0.05—0.08 cm, with obliquely truncate apex; rostellum erect or slightly recurved; distal margin sinuate and curved. Anther oblong-ovate, 0.08—0.1 by 0.04—0.05 cm. Fruit oblong to oblong-elliptic, 0.07—0.09 by 0.03—0.05 cm.

Flower yellow-green, lip orange-red. Column dark bluish-green coloured, particularly in apical half.

Epiphyte on branches of shrubs or on trees in forest, in Metroxylon swamp. Altitude 250—600 m.
