Plant including the inflorescence to 30 cm tall. Pseudobulbs elongated, conical, 10-12 cm high, 1 cm diam., entirely covered by 5-7 broadly ovate cataphylls, at the apex with 3-4 rather closely spaced leaves. Leaves oblong-lanceolate to lanceolate, 10-12 by 3-4 cm, the upper leaf narrower, thin-textured, acute, with somewhat undulate margins, gradually narrowed to the base, below especially in the basal part 5-7 ribbed. Inflorescence without peduncle-scales, laxly flowered. Floral bracts minute, triangular, acuminate, transparent, about equalling the ovary. Flowers 0.5-0.6 cm diam. Sepals convex, subacute. Median sepal ovate. Lateral sepals oblong. Petals as long as the sepals, linear, shortly acute. Lip auriculate; auricles larger than the blade, semiovate, erect, semi-twisted; blade shorter than the sepals, ovate, with a basal pit, covered with shiny papillae.
