Small plant, 10—13 cm tall, erect. Rhizome very short. Leafy stem 2—3,5 by 1—1.3 cm diam., covered by leaf petioles and sheaths. Leaves 2—3; petiole 0.07—0.1 cm long; leaf sheath 0.05—0.08 cm long; leaf blade obliquely elliptic-ovate to elliptic-lanceolate, attenuate, 7—12cm long, 3—5.5 cm; apex acuminate; 3—5-nerved. Inflorescence 3.5 cm long, many-flowered, dense. Floral bracts reflexed, lanceolate; apex acuminate; 1-nerved. Flowers 0.46—0.5 by 0.38—0.42 cm wide when spread. Median sepal 0.34—0.35 by 0.3—0.32 cm, ovate, distinctly contracted in apical half; apex obtuse. Lateral sepals falcate, oblique ovate, 0.28—0.3 by 0.19—0.2.1 cm; base obliquely obcordate; apex obtuse. Petals 0.3 by 0.08 cm, oblique, asymmetric lanceolate; apex obtuse; usually strongly recurved. Lip elliptic sagittate in outline, c. 0.35 by 0.25—0.27 cm wide when spread; lamina 0.25 cm long; margins and apex incurved, apex obtuse; auricles abbreviated, triangular, falcate, subparallel, 0.1—0.13 by 0.1—0.12 cm, with obtuse apex; lamellae parallel, vanishing below apex of lamina, 0.22—0.24 by 0.02—0.03 cm high, 0.01—0.02 cm thick; callus lamellae parallel, vanishing below apex of lamina, 0.22—0.24 by 0.02—0.03 cm high, 0.01—0.02 cm thick, lamina between lamellae flat. Gynostemium erect, c. 0.1—0.12 by 0.04—0.09 cm; below anther base with a relatively elongate, cone-like, strongly bent down appendage 0.03—0.04 by 0.02—0.03 cm; staminodes folded back from anther, oblong, obliquely truncate, 0.04-0.06 by 0.03—0.035 mm; anther 0.01—0.05 by 0.05—0.06 cm wide.

Crepidium breviscapum differs from Crepidium brachycaulos in the obtuse dorsal sepals, the abbreviated auricles of the lip which are shorter than the lamina, and the elongate and strongly backwards bent column appendage.
