Epiphytic, erect, caespitose, 20-30 cm high. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, flexuose, finely villose. Pseudobulbs slender, terete, 1-leaved, 5-6 cm long, hardly more than 0.1 cm diam. Leaf erect, linear, acute, somewhat narrowed towards the base, 15-20 cm long, in the middle 0.4-0.7 cm wide, veined. Inflorescence terminal, erect, shorter than the leaf, with a few distant, lanceolate, acuminate peduncle-scales; rachis almost secund, somewhat flexuose, laxly several-flowered. Floral bracts at the base ovate, subulate, acuminate, little more than half as long as the pedicellate, ovary. Median sepal oblong-lanceolate, subacuminate, 0.5 cm long. Lateral sepals porrect-spreading, obliquely lanceolate, acute, as long as the median sepal but a little broader. Petals deflexed, narrowly linear, slightly dilated towards the apex, subacute, as long as the sepals. Lip at the base erect, abruptly geniculate-decurved, in outline almost panduriform, 0.7 cm long, blade above the middle 0.3 cm wide, apical part ovate, acuminate, at the base with an oblong-quadrate, obtuse callus. Column semiterete, almost straight, in front indistinctly keeled, 0.4 cm long, somewhat dilated in the middle. Anther rounded. Ovary pedicellate, , clavate, glabrous, 0.7 cm long.
