Epiphytic, erect, 7cm high. Rhizome very short; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous. Stems unbranched, terete, leafy, 0.250.35 cm diam., the leaf-sheaths villose, closely appressed, entirely covering the stem. Leaves erectlinear, subacute, sparsely shortly hispid, eventually becoming almost glabrous, 25 cm long, near the middle 0.3cm wide. Inflorescences lateral, slender, curved, as long as or a little longer than the leaves, laxly 3villose; peduncle and rachis slender, flexuose. Floral bracts suborbicular, obtuse, villose, as long as the ovary. Flowers outside villose, erectpatent. Sepals oblong, obtuse, 0.35 cm long, inside glabrous. Lateral sepals oblique, at the base along the anterior margins dilated; mentum obtuse, c. 0.15 cm long. Petals subfalcateligulate, obtuse, somewhat shorter than the sepals, margins sparsely long ciliate. Lip at the base obovatein apical third 3-lobed, near the base with an obtuse swelling, 0.33 cm long, between the apices of the lateral lobes 0.25 cm wide; lateral lobes obliquely semioblong, obtuse, with ciliate inner margins; mid-lobe larger, semi-square, in front notched with a broad apicule. Column short, in front sparsely farinosepapillose; clinandrium with short lateral lobes, median lobe truncate, not longer than the lateral ones. Anther reniform-cucullate, obtuse, dorsally granulose. Hairs red-brown. Flowers red-brown with golden brown hairs; anther red with white margins.

Epiphyte in lower montane forest; 1200 m.
