Plant bamboo-like. Stems 1 m or more long, 0.6-0.7 cm diam. Leaves numerous, distichous, broadest at the base, acuminate (resembling Dendrobium acuminatissimum), 15-22 cm long, at the base 1.5-1.8 cm wide, unequally bilobed; sheaths as long as the internodes, 2.5-2.8 cm long. Inflorescences shorter than the leaves, few-flowered. Flowers cartilaginous. Median sepal ligulate, 1.5 cm long, obtuse, concave. Lateral sepals ovate-triangular, falcate, incurved, 1.2 cm long, at the base 0.5 cm wide, acute; mentum very short, rounded, somewhat incurved. Petals oblong-lanceolate, 1 cm long, near the middle 0.3 cm wide, acute, falcate, strongly deflexed. Lip folded, in front strongly decurved, 1.3 by 0.6 cm; lateral lobes rectangular, with denticulate front margin; mid-lobe oblong, obtuse, with a very thick keel starting at the base, decurrent to the apex. Column not short, lateral margins of the clinandrium straight, denticulate; filament triangular, acute.
