Epiphytic, leafless; roots flexuose, flattened, up to 15 cm long, 0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence densely few-flowered, including the densely and shortly muriculate-papillose peduncle up to 3.5 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, much shorter than the ovary. Sepals oblong, obtuse, outside in basal half papillose, almost muriculate, 0.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique. Petals obliquely oblong- ligulate, obtuse, a little shorter than the sepals. Lip in outline orbicular, broadly obtuse, inside almost entirely covered with a square, indistinctly 3-lobed, in front truncate patch, at the base with a large, semi-elliptic, minutely papillose, depressed thickening; spur broadly conical-saccate, obtuse, a little shorter than the lip. Column very short; rostellum suberect, straight. Anther broadly ovate-cucullate, acute; pollinia obliquely obovoid; stipe 3 times as long, very thin, towards the apex somewhat widened; viscidium minute. Ovary subsessile, muricate, 0.3 cm long.
