Epiphyte without leaves. Roots flattened, flexuose, 0.15-0.25 cm wide, up to 25 cm long. Inflorescence densely many-flowered, including the hair-like peduncle to 8 cm long. Floral bracts deltoid, minute. Flowers glabrous. Sepals and petals oblong, obtuse, about equally long. Lateral sepals oblique, 0.5 cm long. Lip at the base semiorbicular, 3-lobed; lateral lobes truncate, in front irregularly subdentate; mid-lobe square, in front truncate, with margins irregularly subdentate margins, at the base with a rounded callus decurrent towards the apex, the whole lip as long as the petals, between the tips of the lateral lobes 0.45 cm wide; spur cylindrical, straight, at the apex somewhat inflated, 0.45 cm long. Column very short; rostellum short, hammer-shaped. Anther at the base rounded-cucullate, rostrate; pollinia of unequal size; stipe at the base thin and slender, widened to the apex, almost twice as long as the pollinia; viscidium linear, large.
