Stem very short; roots elongated, when dried to 0.3 cm wide. Inflorescence glabrous, many-flowered, producing flowers for a long time; peduncle filiform, 4.2-7 cm long, rachis thin, flexuose, angular, 2-4.5 cm long, internodes 0.15-0.17 cm long. Floral bracts in two alternating rows, clasping the rachis, obliquely subcucullate, apiculate-acuminate, 0.15 cm long. Sepals subovate-lanceolate, caudate, acuminate, concave, 3-nerved. Median sepal 0.6 cm long. Lateral sepals 0.66 cm long, 0.13 cm wide. Petals similar to the sepals, 0.58 by 0.13 cm. Lip spurred, entire; spur pointing backwards, making an acute angle with the ovary, almost semiglobose, dorsally straight, ventrally convex, constricted at the base, 0.13 cm long; blade ovate-deltoid, long subulate-acuminate, concave, smooth and glabrous, when spread 0.5 by 0.23 cm. Column very short, stout, laterally flattened, 0.08 cm long; rostellum porrect, short, 2-dentate; stigma bilobate, the lobes rounded, concave. Anther hood-shaped, quadrangular-semiglobose, the beak-like apex long, linear, the tip recurved, shorter than the rostellum; pollinia 4, triangular, dorsally convex; stipe slender, spathulate. Ovary 6-grooved, 0.25 cm long. Fruit 1.35 cm long, opening with one longitudinal slit; pedicel 0.3 cm long. (After Smith, 1909)
