Stems elongated, laterally compressed, in cross-section elliptic, 40 cm by 3.5-5.5 mm, internodes 1.9-2.5 cm long. Leaf sheaths 0.4-0.65 cm wide, longer than the internodes, laterally compressed, minutely rugulose, apex truncate, with a minute tooth opposite the leaf-blade. Leaves widely patent, oblong-ovate, 8.5-10 by 1.8-3.3 cm, papyraceous-coriaceous, apex obliquely obtusely bilobulate. Inflorescences laterally from the stems, very short, 2-flowered, spathe 1-1.1 by 0.5-0.7 cm. Pedicel 1.6 cm long; ovary 0.45 cm long. Flowers c. 2 cm across. Dorsal sepal 1.25 cm by 5 mm; mentum c. 0.65 cm long. Petals 1.1 cm by 4.4-4.5 mm. Lip 3-lobed, when flattened 1 by 0.5 across the lateral lobes cm; midlobe 0.4 by 0.53 cm. Column 0.6 cm long; column-foot 0.6 cm long.
