Synonyms:

Epiphyte, erect or patent, up to 20 cm high, rigid; rhizome decumbent, elongated, covered with sheaths; roots filiform, elongated, flexuose, glabrous; stems unbranched or sparsely branched, leafy, rigid, entirely covered by the leaf-sheaths; leaves erect-patent, linear, apex oblique, acute, at the base cuneate, glabrous, rigid, 3.5-5 cm long, in the middle or below the middle 0.25-0.38 cm wide; sheaths closely appressed, striate-nervose, apex almost straight-truncate, up to 0.7 cm long. Flowers solitary at the apices of the stem or branches, glabrous, decurved. Spathe elliptic, apiculate, cucullate-clasping, surpassing the ovary. Floral bract shorter than the ovary, oblong. Sepals oblong, narrowly obtuse. Median sepal 1.2 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, distinctly wider than the median sepal, 1 cm long, high-cohering along the interior margins. Petals obliquely ligulate, obtuse; as long as the lateral sepals, 0.35 cm wide. Lip cucullate-concave, in outline narrowly oblong, 1 cm long, near the middle about 0.33 cm wide, obtuse, glabrous, inside with 3 thickened, parallel median nerves. Column somewhat curved, semiterete, glabrous, 0.8 cm long, towards the apex dilated, clinandrium 4-lobed, lobes rounded, margins minutely serrulate, rostellum large.
