Synonyms:
Terrestrials, herbaceous, glabrous. Tubers elongate, naked. Leaf 1-several, convolute, sessile, much longer than wide, erect, channeled. lnflorescence racemose. Flowers resupinate, dull or brightly coloured. Sepals distinctly dissimilar from the petals. Petals reduced or clawed. Lip immobile on the base of the column; blade three-lobed, with out calli. Column with starnen and style almos t free; column foot absent; pollinarium present; pollinia four. Fruit a clehiscent capsule.
