Synonyms:
Stem usually elongated, limply pendulous, very flat, undulating. Leaves soft and rather thin-textured, rather limp, very thin after dried for herbarium; leaf blades not articulated with the sheaths. Ovaries usually hairy. Flowers more or less curved, perianth turned to the apex of the inflorescence. Lip usually fairly simple, base heart-shaped with distinct auricles and then either narrowly tapering or widened again into a two-lobed blade at the apex.
