Genus Liparis section Choriostachys
Synonyms:
Rhizome very short. Pseudobulbs hardly developed, crowded, reduced to a minute conical swelling, 1-leaved. Leaves duplicate, erect, at the very base articulated, more or less leathery, without articulation between leaf sheath and blade. Inflorescence heteranth (seemingly basal). Flowers spreading, usually not resupinate. Lip at the base ascending, porrect, cuneate-obovate; base on either side auriculate-thickened; median with a very small obtuse callus; margin from halfway minutely undulate-crenulate; apex shortly acuminate. Column erect, somewhat widened at the incurved apex.
