Genus Liparis section Ensipes/Hologlossum

Pseudobulbs more or less reduced, usually 1-leaved. Leaves herbaceous, duplicate, articulated with the leaf or pseudobulb, leaving a clean scar when shed. Inflorescence terminal; peduncle strongly flattened and winged or terete. Floral bracts not distichous, usually not closely spaced. Flowers several to many opening at the same time, gradually more opening. Lip entire, not lobed near the base; halfway strongly bent; apex rounded to acute. Column elongated, lightly bent.
