Cladogram of two genera (blue and red); the black bullet 0 represent a symplesiomorphic character state for the 5 species of the red genus. It is important to note that in a cladogram only comprising these 5 species (so excluding t1) the character states 1, 2, and 3 would be called symplesiomorphic, in the current cladogram they are synapomorphic.
